86-year-old Emily Coakley tried to rob a bank with her walker and a gun.
Not everything goes the way you want it to. Especially when your old day has arrived it’s sometimes difficult to keep your pants up. Even something as small as getting the wrong amount of cash from the ATM could mean the world to you.
86-year-old Emily Coakley from Philadelphia, USA, tried to rob a bank in her hometown last Tuesday. The woman thought that she had received too little money when she made a cash withdrawal and armed with a gun and her walker demanded the remaining amount from the clerk.

When the woman arrived home she decided to count the money and found out she was $400 short and not willing to let it go. She grabbed her walker and pistol, scrambles out onto the street and walks to the bank. There she points her gun at an employee.
Her actions did not have the desired effect. The grandmother was quickly overpowered by guards and handcuffed. Coakley is accused, among other things, of assault, theft and terrorist threats. She has since been released because she admitted her mistake and is awaiting trial.
